The
Qur'an on Wisdom
Following
are some verses of the Qur'an concerning AL-HAKÎM (The Wise),
one of the ninety-nine Divine qualities of Allah. The titles of
each surah, or chapter, are displayed in bold and the specific
verse is indented with the surah and aya, or verse,
number.
The
Cow
2:32
They said: "Glory to Thee, of knowledge We have none, save
what Thou Hast taught us: In truth it is Thou Who art perfect
in knowledge and wisdom." Al-Baqara
2:129
"Our Lord! send amongst them an Messenger of their own, who
shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in scripture
and wisdom, and sanctify them: For Thou art the Exalted in Might,
the Wise."
2:209
If ye backslide after the clear (Signs) have come to you, then
know that Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.
Women
4:11
Allah (thus) directs you as regards your Children's (Inheritance):
to the male, a portion equal to that of two females; if only daughters,
two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if
only one, her share is a half. For parents, a sixth share of the
inheritance to each, if the deceased left children; if no children,
and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third;
if the deceased left brothers (or sisters) the mother has a sixth.
The distribution in all cases (is) after the payment of legacies
and debts. Ye know not whether your parents or your children are
nearest to you in benefit. These are settled portions ordained
by Allah; and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.
4:26
Allah doth wish to make clear to you and to show you the ordinances
of those before you; and (He doth wish to) turn to you (In Mercy):
And Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.
4:56
Those who reject our Signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire:
as often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them
for fresh skins, that they may taste the penalty: for Allah is
Exalted in Power, Wise.
4:130
But if they disagree (and must part), Allah will provide abundance
for all from His all-reaching bounty: for Allah is He that careth
for all and is Wise.

Cattle
6:18
"He is the irresistible, (watching) from above over His worshippers;
and He is the Wise, acquainted with all things."
6:83
That was the reasoning about Us, which We gave to Abraham (to
use) against his people: We raise whom We will, degree after degree:
for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge.
The
Prophet Hud
11:1
A. L. R. (This is) a Book, with verses basic or fundamental (of
established meaning), further explained in detail,- from One Who
is Wise and Well-acquainted (with all things)
11:45
And Noah called upon his Lord, and said: "O my Lord! surely
my son is of my family! and Thy promise is true, and Thou art
the justest of Judges!"
Light
24:10
If it were not for Allah's grace and mercy on you, and that Allah
is Oft- Returning, full of Wisdom,- (Ye would be ruined indeed).

Spelled Out
41:42
No falsehood can approach it from before or behind it: It is sent
down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all Praise.

It is not fitting for a man that Allah should speak to him except
by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by the sending of a
messenger to reveal, with Allah's permission, what Allah wills:
for He is Most High, Most Wise.

And verily, it is in the Mother of the Book, in Our Presence,
high (in dignity), full of wisdom.
43:84
It is He Who is Allah in heaven and Allah on earth; and He is
full of Wisdom and Knowledge.
